Phase 2 of the league begins on January 19, where the competition intensifies as the teams are divided into two pools. Pool A will feature the Delhi SG Pipers, Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers, Soorma Hockey Club, and Vedanta Kalinga Lancers. Meanwhile, Pool B will include the Gonasika, Hyderabad Toofans, Tamil Nadu Dragons, and UP Rudras. Teams within each pool will compete in a series of matches to secure their place in the knockout stages.
Following the conclusion of Phase 2, the top four teams—two from each pool—will advance to the HIL 2024 semifinals, scheduled for January 31. The tournament promises thrilling hockey action, with teams vying for supremacy in one of the most prestigious domestic leagues. Fans can look forward to intense rivalries and standout performances as the league progresses toward the grand finale.
