Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Points Table update after Puneri Paltan vs Patna Pirates, Match 116

Dabang Delhi confirmed their spot in the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 playoffs after registering a 47-25 win over Bengal Warriorz on Sunday. The win has taken Delhi to the second spot on the ladder with 71 points. Haryana Steelers, meanwhile, continue to be in command, sitting in first place with 78 points. Both teams have played 20 matches each so far in the league stage. 

Bengal’s hopes to reach the playoffs have shattered. They find themselves in the tenth spot with 40 points. Gujarat Giants (35) and Bengaluru Bulls (15) are the only two teams behind in the 11th and 12th spots, respectively. Meanwhile, the second game of the day saw a thrilling encounter between Puneri Paltan and Patna Pirates. The former exhibited a fighting performance but it was Patna, who prevailed in the end.

The Pirates have now 68 points from 19 games and are placed at third. They would be looking to make a top-two finish. For Puneri Paltan, their campaign is nearing its end. With eight wins this season in 20 games, the Paltan are placed in the eighth spot. UP Yoddhas have played 19 games and accumulated 10 wins.

With 64 points under their belt, the Yoddhas find themselves in fourth spot, followed by U Mumba at fifth with 61 points. The sixth and seventh positions are occupied by Telugu Titans (60) and Jaipur Pink Panthers (59), respectively. 

Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Upcoming Fixtures 

Table toppers, Haryana Steelers will be playing their next game against UP Yoddhas in match number 117 of the Pro Kabaddi League on Wednesday. The Steelers are coming off a loss and would look to come back to winning ways. They would be aiming to maintain their top spot on the points tally. On the other hand, UP Yoddhas are also keen to win their next game in a bid to confirm their spot in the playoffs. They haven’t lost a single game in their last five encounters. 

Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, Jaipur Pink Panthers will look to grab a win as they will lock horns with Bengaluru Bulls. Given the kind of form Bengaluru Bulls are in, it’s an ideal opportunity for Jaipur to collect a win and jump higher on the points table standings.
