Pro Kabaddi League 2024-25- Points Table update after Tamil Thalaivas vs U Mumba, Match 54

U Mumba returned to winning ways after beating Tamil Thalaivas 35-32 on Thursday at the Noida Indoor Stadium. Courtesy of the win, the former has jumped to the number two spot on the PKL 2024-25 points table. U Mumba have accumulated 34 points, including six wins and three losses in ten games. Tamil Thalaivas continued to struggle as they were handed their fourth consecutive loss. Thalaivas slipped to tenth spot with three wins and five losses in nine games. 

Earlier, in the first match of the day, UP Yoddhas had the better off Telugu Titans, picking up a six-point win (40-34). The Yoddhas finally returned to winning ways after having suffered back-to-back losses. They are now in the eighth spot with four wins and five losses in ten games. The Yoddhas have managed to accumulate 25 points, thus far. 

On the flip side, Telugu Titans’ dream run has ended with their recent loss. They stay at sixth position with five wins, four losses in 10 games and have collected 27 points, thus far. Meanwhile, the Haryana Steelers continue to be at the top, having managed to accumulate seven wins in nine games. They have 36 points under their belt, thus far. Patna Pirates is at fourth with 28 points, followed by Dabang Delhi KC at fifth with 27 points. 

Jaipur Pink Panthers have four wins in eight games and, overall, have 25 points under their belt. The Panthers are sitting at seventh, followed by UP Yoddhas (25) and Bengal Warriorz (23) at eighth and ninth spots, respectively. Besides, the bottom two spots are occupied by Bengaluru Bulls (13) and Gujarat Giants (12), respectively. 

Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Day 28 Fixtures 

Patna Pirates will take on Bengal Warriorz in the first game of the day at the Noida Indoor Stadium. The Pirates have three wins in their last five games and are coming off a defeat. They would be looking to get back to winning ways. 

On the other hand, Bengal Warriorz have two losses in their last three games. They have only secured wins in three games this season and ought to come back stronger heading into important encounters. As far as the head-to-head battle is concerned, the two teams have taken on each other in 23 games. Patna Pirates have had the wood over Bengal, securing wins 14 times. On the other hand, Bengal Warriorz have beaten the Pirates on six occasions.
