The famous French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura will be singing “For Me Formidable” and “La Bohème." - two classics by Charles Aznavour.

Another highlight of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony will be the live performance by the Metal Band Gojira. Gojira is a French-based metal-rock band that was known as Godzilla till 2001. Talking about the Olympic Games history, Gojira has become the first metal rock band to perform at the Olympic Games opening ceremony. Other celebrities that will be seen during the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony are Juliette Armanet and Sofiane Pamart who will be singing "Imagine" by John Lennon. Snoop Dogg and Salma Hayek will also be present, lighting the Olympic Torch.
