The 2024 Summer Paralympics promises to be a spectacular 11-day event. Just like the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, the opening ceremony for the Paralympics will take place outside the stadium in the Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde and the Trocadéro. The Champs-Elysées is all set to be the site of a "people's parade." Almost 184 delegations, representing the 22 sports in the Paralympic competition, will descend the most beautiful avenue in the world from the Arc de Triomphe. This year, over 4,400 para-athletes are expected to take part.

The initial part of the ceremony will be open to the public. However, the ceremonial and artistic sequence which will be held on the Place de la Concorde on a 4,500-square-meter stage surrounded by four tiers of seating is a paid one, with ticket prices starting from INR 13,994 to INR 65,305.
